What happens when I delete an account within my wallet?

When you delete an account within your non-custodial Forebit wallet, the account will no longer be accessible via the wallet interface.

However, it is important to understand that the account has not been permanently deleted from your wallet. This means that while the account is hidden from view and cannot be interacted with directly from the wallet interface, the underlying data and information remain intact.

To restore the deleted account from your wallet follow these steps:

  • Tap on the "Add Account" button within the Forebit wallet dashboard, or visit https://app.forebit.io/wallet/accounts directly.

  • If required, enter the required account details, such as the private key or cloud encryption password.

  • Select the previously deleted accounts you want to re-add to your wallet.
